jendhi's goodwill wool hat

jendhi's and my favorite past time at work is surfing for stuff we like/want and one of the sites is the goodwill auction site. jendhi found this hat for $3 and was intrigued and low and behold won. I'm not sure but I don't think the auctions are in high demand like ebay. but since jendhi lives in spain she had the hat sent to me. lately we've been having a heatwave and also I'm a little afraid of the unknown. so today when the box arrived with a temperature and I opened the white plastic bag it was tied up in, I was a little shocked and scared and couldn't bring myself to reaching in and pulling out what I thought was digger's warm torso. as the day wore on and the hat cooled off I was able to handle it and take this picture for posterity.
i think i might feel like a mail order bride from siberia if i wear it! ha ha ha ha ha.
the cats are gonna have fun killing it.
still, i remain intrigued and swear i will wear it...i swear? :)
no way i'm not going to look like a foreigner here any more with that hat! i'll be fitting in good! ha ha ha ha ha.
