car hunting

I found a car I'm really interested in in escondido. not close. 2 hour drive 1 way. I call truesports car company to see if they still have the car and if they are open and available for me to come look at the car on sunday when an extremely rude man tells me that if I had read the listing I would know to go to their website where I could fill out a form for manny, who's at six flags this weekend, to get back to me. and the car is being loaned out to people to drive in the meantime. *click* that should have been enough for me to say, nevermind I can find another car, but I took to the time to go to their truly obnoxious website where you must literally wait minutes to be able to get to the almost invasive form (age and birthplace) that without it's completion you can't even view the inventory of cars for more information on the car you're interested in (mileage, options, stupid details like that). I don't know who this works on but I don't need to be treated so poorly nor do I need to join a little club to buy a $3K used car.

update: we bought a car from a private seller for the same asking price as the dealership that blew me off. their loss! Posted by sugi_grl at April 9, 2005 10:19 AM
