the killers

I'm not sure why I've been so slack as to not post about the killers because I was incredibly hyper to get their album as soon as I heard "somebody told me" on the radio. in fact the album is better than that song, the whole album is good. the whole thing! no one hit wonders here. mike and I even saw them perform live at the inland invasion concert and they were great. really great. sounded like their cd. were actually playing their instruments, instead of relying on studio production. I read an article that called them a mix of duran duran and the strokes and I'd have to say that's fairly accurate but don't let those 2 bands fool you, the killers is definitely more than the sum of its parts. they've also got a great site and a hot lead singer ;)
