we are losing our minds
our media is going from bad to worse: last night claudia heard on the news "the deathly effects of the morning after pill, what you weren't told from the beginning." I don't even need to point out how ridiculous that is but it's a perfect example of how worthless and bought our media is. lazy. sensational. spun. and if you agree with "it's big brother but it's for our protection" speed sensing stoplights and you feel we need laws and govt intervention to save us from ourselves, move to china

that stoplight thing is seriously the stupdiest thing i've ever heard. aside from the big-brother annoyance, to me it sounds like it'll make speeders drive even faster. everyone i know that drives fast, drive even faster when they see that yellow light. DUMB, DA, DUMB, DUMB!
I think Nancy McKean (JO from the Facts of Life) said it best in a recent interview w/ TVGuide.com, "the media is nothing but sensational sound bites in between the weather and sports." She's a genius!

and why is forming a pyramid illegal?
