ah work
I thought I'd dedicate this glorious friday to the thing that keeps us busy: work, what are your stories?
at my last job a girl was interviewed and then called back to try out the position. she got there at 9 and and 9:45 before she'd even started working told a, for all practical purposes, random person that she didn't think it was working out and left.
and at my last last job a receptionist was hired who left at lunch and never came back! I love it!

Receptionist positions are so stressful...3 lifetimes ago a girl started and everything was great but she would forget to answer the phone, so we'd remind her, "its your job"....she leaves for lunch then calls HYSTERICALLY crying, "I can't come back, its too much".
Then at this job, we hired another receptionist that was told, "if nothing else, the only thing you need to do is be here on time, 7:30am"...so for the next 4 days she, at best got in at 8:15..oh well, until a week later when she calls at 11:30, "I dont think I'll get ther on time today"

Posted by: sugigrl at October 15, 2004 08:47 AMHere's an email I got the other day from HR.
"Kathy is stuck in her garage. That's what she said. Stuck in her garage.
She'll be a bit late.
Please, no teasing her when she gets in. Have some compassion. ;-)"
