ok, wtf

I have NOT been posting, I think of things to post all the time but 5 minutes later I'm like ... nah ...

last weekend thanks to ken we went to the old bank district downtown LA to see 3 buildings of artists' lofts. some of the art was cool, some of the lofts were mind blowing, and in one of them an iguana attached itself to my back. I'm still alive but barely. I think if it got on me on purpose I hate the owner but if it got on me accidentally, I hope I didn't hurt the lil guy as I hysterically flung him off of me. ::shudder:: there was also a jewish/russian band (devotchka? I think) and one guy switched between the violin and accordian, it sounded really cool.

this weekend we missed shepherd fairy's mk gallery opening but instead I heard the la phil play strauss's symphony #7ish, not sure, but better known as the theme from 2001. our seats are right damn next to the pipes of the organ. it was pretty awesome. that was always my favorite segment of sesame street, who's with me! we also went to the rosebowl flea market and walked ourselves silly. you need to go into training for things like that: the rosebowl marathon, get a free tshirt and powerbar when you're done.

also I recently aquired a tmobile sidekick II. I would never recommend tmobile as a service provided but gawd damn this thing is cool. our block along with several others lost power friday night for a little over an hour but I was still able to chat with friends and surf the net. it trips me out that I can email from anywhere but I'm sure pretty soon that will become old hat so that when I can't I'll be totally lost that I can't be completely connected 100% of the time. nerrrrrrrrrrrrrd alert!
