why I hate vca

jendhi did a search for "i hate vca" and this live journal site came up and she wrote: "I won't even tell you about what happened at the vet today when I tried to pick up some simple saline fluids for my cats. I went to another hospital next door, appealed for help to people who didn't know me at all, and got what I needed for my poor sick cats. Scott said I should have reminded the nasty counter bitches at VCA that I spend the cost of two small cars there on an annual basis, but they wouldn't have cared."

the west la vca is like a mcdonalds, over one million served. when digger was there last year, he was seen by 4 doctors. his urethra was so damaged by lack of knowledge of his case that he ended up requiring surgery. I spent over five thousand dollars.

mike called there on sunday to get a copy of his records faxed to the eagle rock emergency pet clinic. 4 hours later when he called again they not only hadn't faxed the records, but the chick gave him major attitude and hung up on him. mike, furious, drove down there to speak to a supervisor and get the records himself. the supervisor in an attempt to calm him down said that they normally charge $10 for a copy of the records. that would have infuriated me even more considering the money I'd spent. I spent another $250 at the burbank vca this time around for them to do more harm than good. mike spent $700 at the eagle rock emergency pet clinic due to their (burbank VCA) lack of competency. and I'm sure it'll end up being close to $1000 at the studio city animal hospital but at least he's finally in good hands. dr. fullington is THE MAN!
