I'm blonde in the matrix
I think my matrix self would be blonde. even though I haven't seen my natural (with highlights of course) hair color since I was 15 and have been dying my hair black since 2000 I still think of myself as a blonde. so does my friend from college. I still tell blonde jokes about myself and get blank stares. not sure why that is really, I mean aside from the several stints as a bleached platinum blonde and the one time I had blonde dreds I always had darker hair colors: purple, green, blue, blood red, blue, blue... I'm fond of the blue, lately I've been dying my hair blue black but if I could dye it navy blue I would. do you hear me wella?! damn you for getting rid of your #52 blue black, it was the best! oh but I digress, I never really was a blonde, not sure why I continue to picture myself as one.

we saw an old lady the other day with blue hair... but not that old lady blue, but she actually but blue (like the manic panic blue) in her hair but because old lady hair is hard to dye (you know - that gray and white hair), it looked like she washed her hair in a washing machine with a blue towel that had never been washed and it bled on her hair.
navy blue hair would be neato burrito... maybe you could mix and make your own hair dye.. a little of this... a little of that? ;)
