if I'm not cranky enough from not living at home, not sleeping very well and pms-ing I always have the granite guy.
quick synopsis:
april 17: go down to lovely city of commerce, pick out granite, get estimate, get sample of granite, leave information, expect installation in 3 weeks
may 5: call them to follow up on installation, no record of order, no recollection of our meeting. the guy asked me to describe him to him to prove we had indeed met. I held back from telling him he looked like slimer from ghostbusters. he came out to measure. we paid half. check was cashed.
may 20: call them to follow up on installation, no information
may 21: call them to follow up on installation, the guy lost his book and needs to come out to measure again. I leave work and go home to meet him. mike calls them to make sure they have our address, they haven't even left yet and it's past the appt time. super. mike went home to meet them. again.
installation date? who knows.

i'm clearly in the wrong business. should start a granite company, dick around customers and still get paid for it......for doing nothing!
