muse musings
so after listening to muse all weekend, claudia saying they sound like queen, mike saying the interlude in butterflies & hurricanes sounds like rach, initially thinking they sound like radiohead and finding out this is the 3rd release from the british rockers I began to think that maybe they don't sound like radiohead but that this is the sound of british rock and further thinking that everything good and important aside from elvis, jazz and blues has come from the UK:

we all know that it is the GERMANS who are the best musicians of all time.....looking back at the history of music, with all of its goodness....and badness....so looking at yourselves, you have to ask....are you for goodness.....or badness?? Hmmmm.......
Rocking Germans:
J.S. Bach - The father of western music as history knows it.
Beethoven (be honest, does anybody in the history of the artisitc world have bigger balls than beethoven?)
Brahms - The guy spent 20 fucking years working on his first symphony. Now that's a perfectionist.
Schubert - The guy literally could write a timeless melody as easily as the rest of us can take a shit.
Schuman - His musical ideas drove him to the brink of madness and beyond.
Okay, that's enough for now.....and that just scratches the surface.
