Allegedly, there's this sound that was heard a month or so back, when my sister and her boyfriend were out here for Spring Break. Apparently, it started at 4 in the am, and went til about 5 or 5:30 am. I'm told it seemed like a torture device because it sounded like a faint, constant, baby's toy, humming a creepy lullaby (almost like a creepy, evil clown carnival ride), and it was coming from down and accross the street from my apartment. My sister, Angie, said that she seriously felt like it was making her crazy in her head, and her boyfriend said that he imagined it was used in conjunction with sleep deprevation to make prisoners give up info. The night after, Jonathan woke up to it around 4, and I swear to god, I've never seen someone THAT psychotic and angry and crazy at that early an hour. He said he was going to go punch in every window to every house on the street until he found what was making that noise, and destroy it. So, I traded places in bed with him, since I sleep near the wall, and he sleeps near to the window, and got him some toilet paper to stick in his ears. And I swear to you, to this day, I still have never heard the sound. All I know is the way that it made my sister and my boyfriend behave, it must have been the most annoying sound in the world.

for some reason, valencia (spain) is a very dusty dirty city. whenever it rains, your car is covered in a layer of dirt, and clothes hanging to dry have dirt stains on them.

anyways, so the city has a hosing truck and hosers that hose down the streets at night. now, our building is on the corner of two streets - one is a through street and another is a walk street (pedestrians only). so the truck parks right below our living room window (the corner of these two streets) and hums so loud that even with everything shut and the surround sound on super loud, the humming still overpowers whatever noise you're trying to make to not hear it.

anyways, the truck parks there for like 30 minutes... because they don't want to hose part of a street and move along, but they park by us and then hose our walk street, and the through street, and any other streets their long hoses can reach by us.

it seriously the most annoying sound in the world.

oh and the garbage collectors. they come around at midnight (or shortly after?) and instead of driving to the plaza where the trashcans are located (the other end of the walk street we are on opens to a plaza), since they have to pick up trash from a small plaza by us (on the through street), they stop to pick up that trash bin, and then walk to the plaza, roll all three trash bins that are there down the walk street (which is kinda cobblestone) and then put the trash in the truck, then roll the bins back.

the sound is like those people that have a luggae wheel all jacked at the airport and it keeps making a CLACK CLACK CLACK sound. it's like that but 3 times as bad.

oh, i forgot to mention, the trash collectors go around after the hosers... so it's like 1 hour of melodious harmony.

and babies/children screaming for any length of time. nothing against kids, but HUSH UP! ha ha ha ha ha. kidding.

ok, i'm officially old cuz I CAN'T STAND IT when i'm driving and stopped at a red light and there's a car around me w/ their music/bass on so loud it makes my car buzzzzzzzzzzz. TURN DOWN THAT MUSIC!!

Jen, rain is dirty because it has sand from the sahara desert, not becauRR of dust... so your car gets covered with sand (your hair too, and penis).

Anywho, YOU singing the immigrant song is the most annoying AND funniest thing ever. Another one is having scott johnson show unspectidly to dinner and eat your food and laugh out loud.

Last, but not least, having me as a neighbour. The lady upstairs loves to throw buckets of water at me.
