grrrrrrrrrrrr

so member that scam I tried to participate in to get an ipod? and how they kept raising the stakes until I gave up and simultaneously found out apple offers financing? well I did have enough to get a portable dvd player and a scanner. the scanner finally arrived today in it's own original and minimal packing, box ripped, scanner bed shattered. the ups delivery guy set it on the ground and I said that sounds broken. he just asked me to sign for it. I said who do I contact if it's broken? he said the customer. great! I'll get right on fixing my own problem! amazon should have packaged it better - I mean, they should have PACKAGED it - and ups sucks anyways. *whine*

dude... that sucks. i hate bad packaging!

snake's mom bought us lamps and the store shipped them and all were packed like they should be, but the halogen floor lamp, which they just stuck in a tall box, didn't mark which end up, and sealed it with 1 piece of tape. so when it arrived, it was upside down, the box was compressed (sides pushed in sorta) and the part that was up was partially open, and naturally all the glass (the part where the light bulb went had a frosted glass piece so that the light shone down too) and everything (bulb included) was broken.

did the "customer" ship you a new one?

amazon shipped it again this time with a piece of cardboard wrapped around the original packaging and this time with fedex. I'm surprised it made it in one piece, idiots...
