why I hate netflix

netflix is great for those that can access the site, but for people like me who get permanently redirected to oh so cleverly named entrytrap.html, it's completely worthless. there is no email support, they'd like you to use customerservice.html. ah but that brings me to my first problem. there is no technical support, only a girl that comes on after you've been on hold for 20 minutes and asks you if you've enabled cookies. she also asked me if I had any anti-virus software that could be blocking the netflix cookie. this is curious to me that netflix's cookie would be virus-like. after she asked me if I knew anyone with a computer I cancelled my account. others have encountered this too. I hate netflix because of their incessant popup ads. I will never ever subscribe to netflix even though they may be they greatest video service on the planet. I don't care if I never see another movie.

guess what! same computer same OS but instead of ie I'm using firefox browser and I don't get stuck in the entry trap!

I figured it out when I was at work on my mac os x machine and couldn't go to the stapes site using ie for the same mysterious "enable cookies" reason but it worked on firefox

stupid bill!
