say hello to my little friend

I won this eames era chair on ebay! it started at $35 with a buy it now option of $175. no one bid on it for days, I thought for sure no one would. but then 1 day before it ended a bidding war began between 3 people. the auction ended last night at midnight and I fell asleep twice waiting up, both times I woke up startled and scared. then as it really started getting close I started zoning out and would look at the clock and it would be 10 minutes later - scary. I finally went to the computer 11 minutes before it was to end and I lost my internet connection. I almost started to cry but it miraculously reconnected itself. then about 5 minutes to go I had to go the bathroom so bad I thought I would go blind, I considered just going and blaming it on digger ;) but I made it and ended up getting the chair for 81 dollars and ONE CENT, vhat a barghan! then I was wired and couldn't fall asleep. the moral: ebay is evil.
