christmas tree lane
last night mike and I drove down christmas tree lane on our way home. it's a historic street lined with huge christmas trees that the city or somebody decorates each year. and when I say decorate I mean they dangle 1 or 2 lines of big colorful lights from the tops of each. it is quite a sight because of the size of the trees and the lights that go so high but it's no rockafeller center tree kind of lights and what's even more surprising is that the people that live in these gorgeous houses on christmas tree lane don't put lights on their houses! I would say maybe 10%? put up icicles but that's it. and it's only 7 more days until christmas so I'm not sure what they are waiting for! we have our very first set of icicles up ala mike but sadly no reindeer 
I haven't had a chance to steal my neighbor's yet. but the best lights I've seen so far were on a dog house in someone's yard, how precious is that!!!

wow - christmas tree lane sounds dope. i love it when people put lights up. i gotta get me some lights and put them on our balcony.
maybe santa will bring you a reindeer? ;)
and how cute is putting lights on a dog house! awwww! our cocker spaniel used to have a collar with lights that flashed and our labrador had a collar with bells (his name was Jingles cuz i got him for christmas when i was a baby from my uncle). we only put the jingle bell collar on for like minutes though - poor dog would go crazy otherwise with bells ringing all day! :)
