looky! ever since I first started making my website from scratch I've been trying to put text over an image... sounds easy, seems like it should be easy and it IS easy but I just never knew how to do such a simple feat: I asked the "it" guy at my last company (total waste of space) and he didn't know but instead tried to make me feel stupid by talking off topic about javascripts and his stupid php website. so I have gone way out of my way to achieve the same result with iframes and setting the image to be the background, or with div layers like on the digger layout but it was like iframes with the handicap of absolute positioning and the ever-growing scroll bar as the hidden content extended. these horrible hacks I'm happy to say are in the past! I can't believe everytime I thought to myself why can't I just set the background of a table or cell... I didn't just TRY IT! anyways that makes me happy, nana!
